You can change the range in your automation items

There are moments when the automation's points have a wild range and it is hard to set the points, as well as to automate them. I've ran into this magic setting while trying to set the pitch automatisation more than 3 semitones for a media item.

R-Click on a point and find this section:

And you will be able to tune it as you want!
